Línea/Campo de Investigación: Design of ceramics and composite materials for biomedical applications.
Breve resumen del CV: Dr. Canillas is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Ceramics and Glass of CSIC. Her research lines are focused on materials for biomedical applications including, development of new bioninks for 3D bioprinting, implants for bone regeneration, drug-delivery system, devices to control the redox species associated with illness. She has a wide expertise on synthesis and processing techniques to design ceramics and hydrogel-ceramics composites, capable to be used in medical applications. She is author of 20 papers included in the SCI catalogue and has presented oral communications in renamed congress on biomaterials and ceramics.
In addition to her academic activities, he also maintains an intense and successful collaboration with the industry, making possible the transferring of technological developments from laboratories to market and society. Her participation in different contracts directed to the production of powders, from raw material coming from recycled metals, for the friction industry has resulted on the installation of a production line.
